            Quick Summary: We do not sell your personal data to third parties. The information collected is used exclusively to enable real-time expense splitting between you and your friends, and to display relevant advertisements that keep the application free.

To provide our app functionalities, we may collect the following types of information:

Authentication Data (Google Sign-In): When you choose to sign in with your Google account, we collect your display name, email address, and profile picture. This data is used solely to identify you within expense groups and synchronize your account across cloud devices.
Content & Expense Data: We store expense group names, item titles, financial amounts, and participant names that you input into the application to enable real-time cloud synchronization (via Google Firebase Cloud).
Advertising & Device Identifiers: We use advertising services (Google AdMob) that may collect your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID), IP address, and technical device information to display appropriate ads and prevent fraud.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Create and maintain your authenticated session and synchronize your groups across different mobile devices.
Enable real-time expense sharing through invitation links generated by you.
Improve application stability and usability through anonymous crash logs and performance reporting (Crashlytics).
Display non-intrusive advertisements through the Google AdMob network.

3. Data Sharing

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to marketing companies or third parties. We share information only in the following operational scenarios:

With participants in your groups: When you generate an invitation link and join a shared expense group, your display name and the financial expenses you input will be visible to other members who have access to that same group.
With cloud infrastructure and service providers: We use Google Firebase (for cloud database and authentication) and Google AdMob (for advertising), which operate under strict international security standards and compliance with GDPR and data privacy laws.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely on Google Cloud/Firebase servers. We implement robust security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You retain full control over your personal information. You can request the complete and permanent deletion of your account and all personal data at any time:

Directly In-App: Go to the Settings ⚙️ tab -> scroll down to the "Google Account & Cloud Backup" section -> tap "Delete Account & App Data" (*Eliminar Conta e Dados do App*).

6. Children's Privacy

Rateio Fácil (SimpleSplit) is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to remove that information.
